Larry Dyck founded LD Builders 45 years ago as a custom framing company for luxury homes. Since then, LD has expanded into residential and commercial construction management and general contracting for all sorts of construction. Larry remains dedicated to building and maintaining the relationships that have led to our continued success in the industry.

Darren Dyck

Darren began working for his father, Larry, over 20 years ago as a carpenter on residential homes. In the past 10 years, Darren has transitioned to managing some of the largest multi-family projects and luxurious custom homes in Winnipeg. Darren now oversees all commercial construction, ushering in a new generation at LD Builders.

Andres Holm

Chief Financial Officer

Andres met the LD team in 2013 when framing Innsbruck Village, where he worked for the summer. After a few more summers with LD Builders, Andres attended University of Manitoba where he graduated with an Accounting degree. After articling as an accountant with MNP in Winnipeg and working with Deloitte in private equity in Toronto, he moved back to Winnipeg, joining as CFO of LD Builders.

In 2011, Derek joined LD as a carpenter during our Donald project. After wearing multiple hats as a carpenter, Foreman and Site Supervisor, Derek has become one of our most senior Commercial Project Managers with over 500 suites managed to date.

Eric joined LD Builders in 2019, shortly after he was promoted to Site Supervisor at Amber Gates under Darren. He has gone on to manage commercial client fit-ups, and is currently overseeing multi-family apartment builds.

After joining in 2014 as a Project Manager, Lucas immediately began managing custom homes and hasn't stopped since. With a background in renovations and general contracting prior, that experience has translated to smooth-running projects and repeat clients.

Joining in the peak of Covid, Todd was busy from day one. He started by taking over the finishing of a custom home, and has since managed several large renovations, a commercial renovation and a multi million dollar custom home.

From tracking progress invoices to managing Human Resources - she truly does it all! Sam has extensive experience in financial reporting and has been able to streamline billing and accounts payable to make life much more efficient for the Project Managers.
